El Sexmo is a town in the Valle de Guadalhorce with local school and shops etc and only 30 minutes from Malaga by car, if you take the short drive to Cartama Estación or Campanillas you can catch a train. The Feria in El Sexmo happens on September 12th with processions, dancing, sports tournaments, horse competitions etc.
This property is located a short drive from the school in El Sexmo, its located down a quiet country lane with only access for neighbours, It is registered as a “Yeguada” (equine breeding centre) so has the larger OCA horse licence. (There used to be 37 horses here).
There are three entrance gates to the property; the main one is impressive with decorative details, the other two give access to a sand school and a covered area, good for bringing in a horsebox, and the final one access to the lower level of the land. There is ample parking at the property.
The property was built in 1994 and is 72m2 sitting in a plot of 6,200 m2 with fruit trees. There is also a Roman end swimming pool with water features and a brick built BBQ area with a sink. The house has an upper open terrace level with a storage cupboard.
Upon entering the house we are in the cool large lounge diner with American kitchen, the lounge area has an open fireplace and the kitchen has a range of fitted units.
There are 2 ample double bedrooms and 1 family bathroom with a shower cubicle.
All the windows have mosquito screens fitted.
Walking down the driveway from the house level to the lower level there are chicken pens, an orchard area with fruit trees and a large workshop. There is an out building that the current owner uses as an office, next to that is a room with a stable and tack room and a set up suitable for bird breeding, behind this are 4 more stables.
The other side of the driveway on the lower level are some animal pens and a paddock currently housing some geese, chickens and a horse, these pens are next to a large open irrigated area that could be used for planting or be changed to paddocks.
